About WestKurser

In 1994, when the Employment Agency had to let people off, Paula was one who had to go. The choice came to start courses again as a business of her own. WestKurser. The company sold courses to to different government agencies and other companies. The business went well, and she had employees at times.

"To work with people who has been on sick leave for a long time. To try to find good solutions. To work with addicts. To meet these incredible and exciting people. To work with teenagers and young adults who has lost hope. Imagine helping them to find new ways, find what they've been looking for or maybe something they didn't know was out there!

What a joy for me having the opportunity to walk with them on their path. Sometimes there was no solution, but then we had really tried everything. Things don't always turn out the way you want or hope for.
Everyone has their own will. But at times I have seen people get hurt due to other people close to them making the wrong decisions. It makes me very grieved. There's probably no worse place to be.

I had evening courses in painting, in the fall and spring. I had learned painting in water color and tempra. It became a lot of fun courses. I can recommend giving courses. You get to do what you love and at the same time learn pedagogic and ways of teaching.
I had more and more assignments. To me, the subject and the people have been the most important."
